The Samsung HW-E550 surround sound bar is unique and flexible. The HW-E550 comes with built-in Bluetooth, 4 different layout options, a wireless active subwoofer and audio-sync.

Virtual Surround Sound

The Samsung HW-E550 is a true 2.1 system that virtually simulates a full 5.1 surround sound home theater system. This gives you the experience of full surround sound and low rumbling, booming bass without complex setup requirements.

Split Design

The HW-E550 audio system is innovative and flexible. The sound bar can be placed under your HDTV as one unit or you can separate it into two parts. You can mount the Samsung HW-E550 on the wall or leave it on a stand. This sound bar is the perfect match for your 46” or bigger HDTV; the slim design maximizes audio, while minimizing its footprint. 



Wireless Active Subwoofer

Subwoofers are always going to be the roundhouse kick finish to any home theater system. The HW-E550 wireless subwoofer allows for installation virtually anywhere in the room without the need to run wires.



 

3D Sound Plus

3D technology doesn’t simply stop at imagery; the audio changes as well. With the additional depth that 3D brings, it causes a noticeable delay between the audio and video of your HDTV. The 3D Sound Plus ensures that your audio remains synchronized with your picture at all times for the best audio/visual experience possible.



Bluetooth

Wirelessly connect and play media, from any Bluetooth enabled device, directly through the sound bar.

Audio Return Channel

Audio Return Channel (ARC) eliminates the need to use two cable connections to send audio upstream to the TV and downstream to attached components; instead all you need is one HDMI connection between the Samsung HW-E550 and TV. Your HDTV’s audio will be sent to the sound bar and then the sound bar’s audio, from connected external devices, will be sent to the TV using the same HDMI cable.
