This HDTV set has the best picture. I own an older 42 inch set that I thought showed beautiful but the TC-P50S30 shows much better.

Got this TV about a week ago as a filler until tax return time when we will get a 3D. It is sitting in our downstairs den, right next to the sliding glass door, which allows in a good amount of light. Even though the room isn't dark like most suggest with a plasma, the picture quality is still really really good. Also, there is virtually no glare that I can complain about, Panasonic has done a good job on making their TVs resist glare. I keep the TV in Game Mode, I have found that it is the best setting for getting bright, clear picture without being too dull or too vivid. It was very easy to set up, and we were able to get it put together and hooked up faster than we were able to put the stand it is sitting on together! All in all, great purchase. When we get the 3D, this will be going in the master bedroom. Also, I ordered it on a Monday and got it delivered two days later on Wednesday. Not quite instant gratification, but pretty darn close!

i bought one of these tvs two weeks ago and i love it. i love that i can surf the web and veiw everything on my computer even avi files whitch someone said that you cant but if you go online and download vlc media player it plays avi file no problem. the only thing that i dont care for is cause i am only about 6ft away from it is hard on my eyes and wish i got a smaller tv but for the price you can not beat it. i am very happy that i purchased this tv because it really feels like your at a movie theater when i have my surround sound on and picture is so clear and easy to configure so that the picture is of the highest quality. This is such a great TV!!

After receiving this tv, I immediately LOVED it...you will not see a better HD picture than from a plasma, as there is no pixalation or other motion effects. As noted by others, plasmas do give off quite a bit of heat, so be prepared to have a fan near you to stay cool while watching in a closed room; otherwise, if the room is open you will not notice if sitting at a proper distance. I've already had another family member purchase this same tv, and they also are amazed by how great the tv performs.

This plasma TV is unbeatable for movies, sports, and regular TV programming. The crisp detail, deep blacks, and smooth motion are amazing. LED/LCD is a close comparison but still is not as good as plasma.

My husband and I thought about a LCD because we heard Plasmas we're not good for bright conditions. Let me say that this plasma is wonderful even in our bright space. The color is crisp and clear and the TV was very easy to set up with the HDMI to a surround and satellite dish. Very satisfied with our purchase. Can't beat the price either!

unbevievable, so clear and crisp. its just perfect. colors are great and set up was quick and easy. should have done this months ago. my old bulb tv was dark. rewatched csi, what a difference.

Purchased this new 2 days ago, so easy to set up and get running and picture quality is stunning! I wish I had upgraded years ago!
