Never liked active shutter 3D so I was going to pass on 3D TV altogether. This Passive 3D TV was definitetly worth waiting for. Very sharp picture, true black, great color, no motion blur. I love the remote. The menu and widgits are exceptional and easy to use. I agree with the review about the poor sound you get from all the thin TV'S. I added a Boston Acoustics TVee Model 30 soundbar and it's like being at the IMAX.

We got this 3D TV 2 weeks ago and kids love it. My husband is big fan of football and he simply love to watch his game with family in 3D. Thanks Toshiba.

I've been researching Tv's since Hd came out and finally found the one that has it all. Crystal clear picture, Black that is truely black, no motion blur, Great remote control(love the menu & widgets). I never liked active shutter 3D so glad I waited for this passive 3D Tv. Not only does it have a great picture but it's design is beautiful too. Best looking Tv in the store. All of the very thin Tv's have poor sound so I added a Boston Acoustic sound bar which makes it like being at the IMAX.

just bought this tv a week ago, and can shut it off ,its amasing how colors and how clear you can see. love the 3d , Football on 3D AWESOME. you all have to get one guys. Wives this is the perfect gift.

I've had this TV for 10 months and have watched hundreds of movies and played a few PS3 games on it. My only real complaints from this TV are... 1) The more brightly lit areas on the screen caused by poorly diffusing the light given off by the edge lit LEDs. It's very noticeable when the screen is entirely black and somewhat noticeable while watching movies or playing games. Still, for this kind of money I would like to see Toshiba refine the system they use for diffusing the light coming from the LED's. 2) When playing blurays, the timing between sound and video is off. The only way to remedy this is to use PC or GAMING mode. This keeps the TV from doing extra processing of the images therefore speeding up the time it takes to display the images but it seems to reduce some of the crispness of the picture. 3) The only other problem, (lack of features) is the inability to upconvert 2D to 3D videos like the Samsung TV's. Though, I haven't had a chance to see how well they produce 3D images from 2D, but it's a neat feature none the less and I'd like to see Toshiba make that feature available. Sure, the sound coming from the tv speakers is mediocre, at best, but who uses them for anything more than watching normal TV shows anyways? If you're buying a 3D LED TV, then you should be spending a bit of money on a quality surround system to go along with it.
