Voice Control
Control everything from the TV’s power to the channel you’re watching. Simply say the trigger phrase “Hi TV…” and basic voice control commands are displayed on-screen. “Hi TV, power on”, the television turns on. “Hi TV, volume up,” increases volume of the TV, and so on... Gesture Control

The Samsung UN60ES8000’s Micro Dimming Ultimate breaks your TV’s screen into multiple zones. This technology then scans the image and adjusts brightness to deliver richer colors and deeper blacks. By advancing on last year’s Micro Dimming technology; Samsung’s processor now scans twice as many zones to offer you a more detailed picture. 
Clear Motion Rate 960
The UN60ES8000 performs 16 times better than Samsung’s base models! A Clear Motion Rate (CMR) of 960 is the pinnacle of performance and Samsung’s answer for an industry littered with inflated numbers and no real standards. Samsung developed CMR as a more accurate measurement of how well an LED HDTV handles fast, moving scenes. CMR calculates 3 factors: refresh rate, image processor speed, and backlight technology. The higher the Clear Motion Rate, the better performance the TV will give you when watching fast action sports, movies or video games.
