CineMate® GS Series II digital home theater speaker system
The Bose® CineMate®
GS Series II digital home theater speaker system: The easiest way to bring Bose® performance to your HDTV. Two premium Gemstone® speakers and a hideaway Acoustimass® module deliver lifelike sound that seems to surround you for movies, sports, music and gaming. So what you hear will be just as exciting as what you see.
The CineMate GS Series II systems dramatic sound is largely due to Bose proprietary TrueSpace® surround digital processing circuitry and digital acoustic performance. Youll experience deeper low notes and more immersive sound that puts you in the middle of the action--all without rear or center speakers.
The premium Gemstone speakers are an aesthetic complement to your TV and deliver surprisingly powerful sound for their size. The Acoustimass module offers dramatic effects without audible distortion, so you can hide it almost anywhere in the room. And all the sound seems to come from the small, elegant speakers.
System setup is a snap. Just three wires and a power cord connect all system components. The included setup disc walks you through the process in quick order. And with no rear surround speakers, theres no need to run wires from the front of your room to the back.
An easy-to-use, programmable universal remote controls the system and most devices connected to your TV, such as a Blu-ray Disc™ player, cable/satellite box or gaming system. And the system hooks up directly to your TV, avoiding the need to disconnect those other sources. In all, the CineMate GS Series II speaker system gives you the acoustic performance you expect from Bose--with the simplicity and elegance you want from a home theater system. Its available only from Bose, the most respected name in sound.

I purchased this to highlight my Sharp Aquos 3D t.v. due to the tinny (not tiny) hollow sound. The Bose Cinemate II produce a rich quality base with mids and highs. Everything is perfectly tuned so that you do not get too much base but still enough to rumble the house if your watching a war movie. Even used when listening to the radio channels on t.v. or listening to my networked music, it sounds great. I highly recommend. If your worried about price...electonics is definitely something that you get what you pay for. Don't be a cheap skate.

We love it! The remote works great with TV, blue ray player, dish satellite receiver. It controls all of it with one remote! The sound is great too. Super easy set up and the speakers are small with big sound. I would recommend this to everyone and the price was very reasonable. Well worth the money!!!! Way to go Bose!

This is the perfect accompaniment for my 50" Samsung LED TV. Turn the speakers to the TV off, and listen to real dynamic high fidelity surround sound as only Bose can deliver. While most TV programing doesn't do it justice, pop in a CD or DVD with musical content to hear what this system is capable of doing.

The Bose CineMate GS Series II sounds great if your room isn't set up for surround sound speakes & don't want wires everywhere. The 'But' is the cost - $700 - $800. While they are well made & sound great, they could sell more if they brought the cost down by quite a bit. That is why I give them only 4 stars! They sound great on music shows & movies. It even has a universal remote for your TV & other devices and is an easy set up. They sound better than the Bose sound bar, IMHO, at half the price. Also, if you keep your TV sound level at a very low level, these may not be something you want or need.
