Sr. Application Developer (Irvine, CA)

Position Information
Paul's TV is looking for a skilled Senior .Net Application Developer with Ecommerce website development experience. This person will be responsible for architecting, design and development of Web applications, Ecommerce Websites, Windows Desktop applications, and cloud-based solutions using cloud-based services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2 using Web services and databases.

This is a technical role that requires sound software engineering experience and strong technical leadership. In addition to .NET technical expertise, the ideal candidate must be a strong communicator and comfortable working closely with in-house technical and design teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Participation in solution design, concept visualization, functional & technical requirements gathering meetings.
• Design and develop C# access layers for SQL Databases
• Design and develop C# middle-tier components.
• Design and develop ASP.Net UI layer.
• Write unit and integration tests for all code.
• Participate in the development and review of functional specs based on business requirements.
• Serve as an active team member in a SCRUM-style development environment.

Job Requirements
• 5+ years' experience developing high-performance web applications based on the Microsoft technology stack
• Education Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5 years' experience in architecting solutions using .NET 2.0 or above
• Knowledge in understanding relational database models and developing complex database queries using Microsoft SQL Server
• Working experience in architecting/developing SOA (.NET Web Services)
• Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio Team System / TFS
• Programming experience in: C#, ASP.NET (2.0, 3.0 & 3.5), AJAX, XML, XSLT, XPATH, SQL, XML, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, XHTML, CSS, etc.
• Excellent technical, analysis, communications, mentoring, and teamwork skills.
• Highly motivated individual with deep technology understanding, capable of learning and digesting new technologies rapidly.
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects with varying priorities and deadlines
• Solid object-oriented design skills
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices
• Developing high traffic E-Commerce site
